    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Inova is looking for an experienced PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) needed for busy inpatient/outpatient Urology service.</p>\n<p><i>Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.</i>&nbsp;<i>We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.&nbsp;</i></p>\n<p><strong>Featured Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Committed to Team Member Health:&nbsp;</strong>offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement:&nbsp;</strong>Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.</li>\n <li><strong>Tuition and Student Loan Assistance:&nbsp;</strong>offering<strong>&nbsp;</strong>up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.</li>\n <li><strong>Mental Health Support:&nbsp;</strong>offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance:&nbsp;</strong>offering<strong>&nbsp;</strong>paid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, and remote and hybrid career opportunities<strong>.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Urology Advanced Practice Provider Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Daily morning and afternoon rounding on inpatients and consults,</li>\n <li>Daily writing of progress notes</li>\n <li>Assessment and verbal presentation of ER and inpatient consults</li>\n <li>Writing of consult notes for attending review&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Performing&nbsp;or assisting with bedside procedures (for example: complex catheter placements (including intraoperatively for other surgical subspecialties), complex catheter removal, suprapubic catheter exchanges, urinary catheter irrigation for clot retention, irrigation of priapism, incision and drainage of scrotal abscesses, and others)</li>\n <li>Placing orders for admissions and discharges</li>\n <li>Ordering and interpreting labs and radiologic studies</li>\n <li>Fielding phone calls from beside nurses</li>\n <li>Multidisciplinary care coordination and patient education.</li>\n <li>Outpatient visits</li>\n <li>Some opportunity exists for first-assisting in the OR, as service needs permit or require.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program</li>\n <li><strong>Experience</strong>: Prefer a provider with prior urology experience (inpatient or outpatient), or with a minimum of 2 years of any clinical experience.</li>\n <li>Board certified (ACNP or NCCPA certification)</li>\n <li>BLS</li>\n <li>Virginia License</li>\n <li>DEA</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 or more years of Advanced Practitioner experience in a Urology setting (inpatient or outpatient)</li>\n</ul>",
