    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Senior Director of Business Unit Finance serves as the strategic finance partner to executive leadership and business unit leaders within a private equity–backed SaaS organization specializing in the multi-family housing industry. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, supporting value creation initiatives, and enabling scalable, profitable growth through disciplined planning, forecasting, and analysis. Operating in a PE-backed environment, this leader brings a strong ownership mindset, a bias toward action, and a deep understanding of the financial levers that drive ARR & EBITDA growth, cash flow, and enterprise value.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the primary finance partner to Business Unit leadership, supporting strategy, investment decisions, and operational execution</li>\n <li>Translate business and PE value-creation strategies into actionable financial plans and performance targets</li>\n <li>Provide financial modeling and ROI analysis for growth initiatives, cost optimization, product investments, and go-to-market strategies</li>\n <li>Support executive and Board-level decision-making with clear, data-driven financial insights and narratives</li>\n <li>Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning for assigned business units in a PE operating cadence</li>\n <li>Own and enhance SaaS financial models, including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, and unit economics</li>\n <li>Analyze performance drivers, variances, and trends with a focus on EBITDA, cash flow, and scalability</li>\n <li>Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor financial and operational KPIs aligned with PE objectives</li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations</li>\n <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred</li>\n <li>15+ years of progressive finance experience, including strategic FP&A and business partnership roles  </li>\n <li>Proven ability to support senior executives and influence business strategy</li>\n <li>Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Strategic, analytical, and commercially focused</li>\n <li>Strong executive-level communication and presentation capabilities</li>\n <li>High integrity, sound judgment, and results orientation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
