If the answer is yes then please review the details below and apply to this career opportunity here at Humber River Health.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status: Permanent Part-time </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Hours of Work: </strong>Currently days/evenings/nights, rotational 12 hours shifts including weekends and statutory holidays <strong>Location:</strong> Hennick Humber Hospital, Wilson Site<strong>Labour Group: </strong>OPSEU 577<strong>Reporting Relationship: </strong>Manager, Respiratory Services<strong>Hourly Rate: </strong>$38.35 - $53.28</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing therapeutic, diagnostic and respiratory services.</li>\n <li>Ensuring the efficient delivery of respiratory services.</li>\n <li>Continually evaluating the effectiveness of therapies given to patients.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with ventilation (invasive and noninvasive), airway management and spirometry, arterial blood gas collection, art line insertion, endotracheal intubation/ extubation, home oxygen assessment, required.</li>\n <li>Other relevant duties as assigned by management or Clinical Coordinator.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy required.</li>\n <li>NRP, & BCLS certification required.</li>\n <li>A member in good standing with the C.R.T.O is required.</li>\n <li>A member of R.T.S.O and C.S.R.T. preferred.</li>\n <li>2 years acute care hospital experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Evidence of sound organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills with ability to work well in a fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work both autonomously and as an effective team member.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to Humber’s comprehensive safety programs and willing to participate in regular in-service education in this area.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates a commitment to excellent customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, management, volunteers and other members of the community and public.</li>\n <li>Commitment to lifelong learning.</li>\n <li><p>Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. </p></li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
