Engineering in Training (EIT) certification is preferred for this role, but not required. <strong>All candidates should be proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Water CAD, and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word. )</strong></p><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Do:</strong>&nbsp; Our Site/Civil Engineer applies engineering fundamentals related to a discipline in technical support of project design teams. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Need to Be Successful:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong CAD skills</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Civil3D</li><li>Land Development project experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Land Development Engineers also:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Perform engineering calculations and create estimates&nbsp;</li><li>Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure designs are in accordance with company and client production and design standards</li><li>Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc.</li><li>Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct field inspections and surveys, investigate variables, obtain measurements, photographs, videos, and take notes; write reports documenting same</li><li>Research and apply code provisions to design&nbsp;</li><li>Work with senior engineers to create project designs</li><li>Create models, including 3D models&nbsp;</li><li>Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, using own judgement to make adaptations and modifications to existing designs&nbsp;</li><li>Assist Project Engineers and leaders as needed in the creation of proposals, client information, and designs</li></ul><p>All other duties as assigned.
