    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.6.15/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Summary of Position:</strong></p><p>The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, a two-year not-for-profit College accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education seeks adjunct nursing instructors, approximately 8-24 hours per week for the College&rsquo;s well-respected Practical Nursing program. This is a day program operating Monday through Friday on a term schedule. The instructors will report to the Director of Nursing.</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Roles include: Fundamentals of Nursing &amp; Role Development Instructor,&nbsp;</strong>a didactic role.</p><p><strong>Supervisor responsibilities:</strong> None</p><p><strong>Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lecturing on practical nursing topics.&nbsp;</li><li>Initiate, facilitate, and moderate clinical and/or lab discussions.</li><li>Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.</li><li>Evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers.</li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address issues with instruction.</li><li>Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.</li><li>Oversee labs/clinical activities.</li><li><br></li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills / Abilities</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to work independently.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to be adapt and be flexible surrounding instruction delivery.</li><li>Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li><li>Technologically savvy.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot across different technology platforms such as Zoom.&nbsp;</li><li>Well-versed with computers, and modern computer software.</li><li>Organizational, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to adapt to changes in workload.</li><li>Proficient with Zoom.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>BSN Degree.</li><li>PA licensed RN.</li><li>Previous clinical educator experience highly preferred.
