The Front Office/Back Office Medical Assistant will report to their designated home clinic unless otherwise directed by the Clinic Manager to support another clinic location. Additionally, this role supports Clinica Sierra Vista expectations and quality client care by promoting operational efficiency and assisting with the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all Behavioral health center objectives.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;text-align:justify;'><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><u><strong>Daily Health Center Operations</strong></u><strong>:&nbsp;</strong><br><br><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Float Medical Assistant must have a working knowledge of all front office, back office, intake, and medical record processes including:</span></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Support in maintaining proficiency in the role of Receptionists and Medical Assistant duties and responsibilities.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Training includes but is not limited to Clinica Sierra Vista&rsquo;s (CSV) culture and mission, practice management system, customer service expectations, , programs, and quality initiatives on a regular basis.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for following standard work procedures and trouble shoots any problems and resolving any client issues at the Behavioral health center.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for monitoring the management of client&rsquo;s schedules to maximize access and minimize errors and delays.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ensures health center and team are meeting TJC, , county contracts and all quality improvement guidelines and requirements.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be customer service focused and ensure staff is providing excellent patient experience, customer service, and ensure quality outcomes.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be available to cover reception and assist clients with appointment questions.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ensures the integrity and standardization of medical records, that they are retained, protected, retrieved, transferred, and disposed of according to policies, local, states, and or federal guidelines.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintains an efficient system for ordering forms, office, and medical supplies as designated.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ol><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>You&#39;ll be successful with the following qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">High School diploma or GED equivalent required.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program Required.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Card required, issued through the American Heart Association</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Possess and maintain a California Driver&rsquo;s license and valid auto insurance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Associates degree in business related field is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista&rsquo;s employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.</li></ul><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">Clinica Sierra Vista values human rights, goodwill, respect, inclusivity, equality, and recognizes that the organization derives its strength from a rich diversity of thoughts, ideas, and contributions.
