(RTFNetwork)<br>Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span><br>Redefining the Future Network, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) to support individuals in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is grounded in lived experience and focuses on empowering clients through advocacy, mentorship, and recovery-oriented support services.</p>\n<p>The Peer Recovery Specialist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to promote recovery, self-sufficiency, and community integration.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide peer support services based on lived recovery experience</li>\n<li>Build supportive, strengths-based relationships with clients</li>\n<li>Assist clients in developing and achieving individualized recovery goals</li>\n<li>Support clients with linkage to community resources (housing, employment, education, healthcare)</li>\n<li>Facilitate or co-facilitate recovery-oriented groups and wellness activities</li>\n<li>Promote self-advocacy, empowerment, and independent living skills</li>\n<li>Assist with crisis support and encourage the use of coping strategies and recovery tools</li>\n<li>Document services accurately and timely in accordance with program and Medicaid standards</li>\n<li>Collaborate with clinical and care coordination teams to support holistic care</li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in the state of Maryland OR eligible to obtain certification</li>\n<li>Must have lived experience with substance use and/or mental health recovery</li>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to serve as a positive role model and maintain appropriate boundaries</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in behavioral health or community-based settings</li>\n<li>Knowledge of recovery-oriented systems of care and trauma-informed approaches</li>\n<li>Familiarity with local community resources in Baltimore City and surrounding areas</li>\n<li>Experience with electronic health records (e.g., TheraNest)</li>\n<li>Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supervision and Training</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ongoing supervision and support from licensed clinical staff</li>\n<li>Opportunities for professional development and continuing education</li>\n<li>Training aligned with recovery-oriented and evidence-based practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation and Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and certification status)</li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling options</li>\n<li>Opportunities for advancement within RTFNetwork</li>\n<li>Supportive team environment focused on growth and development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About RTFNetwork</span><br>Redefining the Future Network, Inc. is a community-based behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care.
