    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div data-pasted=\"true\"><div data-pasted=\"true\"><p><strong>Position Available: Recreation Specialist</strong></p><p>We are seeking a full-time Recreation Specialist who provides recreational and leisure time activities to support our mission by giving our students a higher level of confidence, emotional and mental stability, optimism, and independence. &nbsp;Balancing academic and vocational training with fun activities helps our students attain a proper balance in their lives. &nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Our facility offers an impressive weight room, arts and crafts room, and basketball/volleyball courts as well as allowing for off-center recreation activities such as hiking, paintball, and photography. &nbsp;The sky is the limit as to what special talent you may offer and share with our students! Position can also be split into 2 part time positions</p><p><strong>Duties:&nbsp;</strong>Organizes and supervises on and off-center recreation activities for students. Assists in developing and implementing diverse programs to include: &nbsp;arts and crafts, intramurals, cultural events and other recreational and enrichment programs. Guides students to make informed life style choices concerning fitness, nutrition and healthy life styles. Prepares schedules and calendars for all recreation activities. Coordinates student field trips. Maintains recreation facilities, equipment, and materials to Center standards. Tracks and records program attendance. Orders and maintains recreational equipment, supplies and materials. Provides transportation of students to and from center-sponsored events.
