Our products protect human life and personal property, improve the quality of life, generate economic prosperity, and connect society.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Titan Florida LLC has an immediate opening for an <strong>Electrical Engineer</strong> for our Pennsuco Cement Plant in Medley, FL.  This salary exempt position is assigned to the Electrical Department and will report directly to the Electrical Maintenance Manager.  The individual in this position will be responsible for supporting reliable operation of the plant’s electrical and automation systems while helping to keep maintenance and repair costs at a minimum. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies.</li>\n <li>Provide maintenance engineering support to the electrical team.</li>\n <li>Help develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for new and existing equipment.</li>\n <li>Integrate maintenance tasks required for new equipment and installations into existing maintenance plans.</li>\n <li>Design and implement control system architecture upgrades or enhancements.</li>\n <li>Evaluate chronic failures and root cause analysis actions to develop and implement long term improvements.</li>\n <li>Lead and participate in root cause failure analysis for downtime events that meet trigger criteria.</li>\n <li>Ensure high reliability through evaluations of critical spare parts availability.</li>\n <li>Perform lifecycle analysis on electrical and control system equipment and generate EOL/obsolescence plans.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support to troubleshoot and repair complex industrial equipment and systems including medium and low voltage VFDs, PLC, HMI, plant control systems, and instrumentation systems.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support to maintain, troubleshoot and repair power system components including breakers, relays, arrestors, transformers etc.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and implement necessary power distribution, automation and motor control infrastructure upgrades or enhancements to ensure reliable operation. </li>\n <li>Develop and implement CAPEX projects related to electrical and automation infrastructure improvements.</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe working environment at all times.</li>\n <li>Strengthen supply chain by selecting best of class products and fostering relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.</li>\n <li>Provide support to the Corporate Engineering Department.</li>\n <li>Work with training coordinator to set up and organize training sessions for E&I Technicians.</li>\n <li>Assist Electrical Maintenance Manager with reporting, general operation, audits and future planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.</li>\n <li>5 years’ minimum professional Electrical Engineering experience, required. Industrial maintenance experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with Industrial Control products (PLC, VFD, DCS and HMI). Ability to interpret and create ladder logic diagrams, logic diagrams, process flow diagram and electrical schematics.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.</li>\n <li>Able to assimilate and embrace change.</li>\n <li>Safety minded</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cement process and lab instrumentation a plus.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and reasoning skills; strong supervisory skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write and speak English. </li>\n <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking fluency, required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work extended hours, holidays, nights, and weekend as needed.</li>\n <li>Team oriented attitude</li>\n</ul>\n<p> This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
