    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Purpose/Objective:&nbsp;</p><p>Ensure a higher availability and reliability and quick response whenever there is a equipment breakdown and collaborate with other team members.</p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><p>1. Responsible for maintenance at the time of equipment, sub stations, Gate, Administration building, work stations, fire pump&nbsp;</p><p>2. Routine / Preventive / Breakdown maintenance of equipment. Routine inspections on equipment and corrective actions thereafter.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Attend to breakdowns and fault diagnosis and correction on equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Act as a supervisor in terms of areas of repairs and respond promptly and positively to reported hazards&nbsp;</p><p>5. Recording of the jobs, manpower and equipment status in the shift logbook. Verify job reports submitted by the shift staff.&nbsp;</p><p>6. Maintain breakdown records for the shift. Recording of the breakdown time of equipment in the breakdown report sheet.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Coordinate with Contractors/Consultants for speeding up major / critical breakdown rectification jobs.&nbsp;</p><p>8. Creating a Preventive maintenance Documents for equipment as per their schedule and implementation through the Planned Maintenance Software.</p><p>9. Implementing maintenance practices to achieve optimum equipment availability with minimum downtime while adhering strictly to safety standards and perform preventive maintenance when equipment are ideal&nbsp;</p><p>10. Prioritizing the issues as per severity&nbsp;</p><p>11. As Engineer having in-depth knowledge on Engine, Hydraulics, Ropes &amp; Gear box of container handling cranes like QC, RTG, RST, ECH and Forklifts&nbsp;</p><p>12. Routine inspection and checks of Emergency Generators, Administration Building lift, Fire system and Yard Flood lights.&nbsp;</p><p>13. Undertake any specific task / responsibility assigned by superiors.&nbsp;</p><p>14. Report on any unsafe conditions in the Terminal or area of work.&nbsp;</p><p>15. Ensure that the company health, safety &amp; environment policy and procedures are observed.&nbsp;</p><p>16. To report any abnormality observed on equipment on priority to the Supervisor</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Skills and Competencies:</p><p>• Computer Knowledge &amp; ability to trouble shoot.&nbsp;</p><p>• Good Communication and Report Writing skills&nbsp;</p><p>• LMV License added advantage&nbsp;</p><p>• NDT experience added advantage&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Educational Qualification (min): BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering</p><p>Range/ Min no of years - of overall Experience required: Minimum 3 years of experience</p>",
