Description

Under the direction of the Department Manager, the CNC Setup Operator ensures the production of company products at the highest quality and at the lowest possible cost, meeting company policies and procedures. The CNC Setup Operator will act in a manner that is consistent with Gordon Aluminum’s Customer 1st Philosophy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Pulls all necessary tools and fixtures to set program in the mill Runs first piece to see that all the dimensions match the print Takes the first part to QC Lab for first piece inspection approval (Must be able to operate Portage Table) or get assistants from Quality Tech Sets approved first piece at machine center for reference until job is completed Make necessary notes for operator to follow Be available to make additional adjustments if necessary Performs any and all other duties assigned by management In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for: Performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Federal, State, and local standards and regulations. Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding safety and standards of workplace behavior, in completing job duties and assignments
