The CNC Setup Operator will act in a manner that is consistent with Gordon Aluminum’s Customer 1st Philosophy.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.</p><ul><li>Pulls all necessary tools and fixtures to set program in the mill</li><li>Runs first piece to see that all the dimensions match the print</li><li>Takes the first part to QC Lab for first piece inspection approval (Must be able to operate Portage Table) or get assistants from Quality Tech&nbsp;</li><li>Sets approved first piece at machine center for reference until job is completed</li><li>Make necessary notes for operator to follow&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Be available to make additional adjustments if necessary</li><li>Performs any and all other duties assigned by management&nbsp;</li></ul><p>In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:</p><ul><li>Performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding safety and standards of workplace behavior, in completing job duties and assignments</li></ul>",

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability</strong></p><p>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>Physical Demands refers to the level and/or duration of physical exertion generally required to perform occupational takes (sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing and pulling).</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, occasionally required to walk and regularly required to use hands to handle, touch objects or controls. Perform repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders and upper body. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
