    "description": "<h2>OBJECTIVE</h2>\n<p><strong>Medical Claims Coordinator Objective</strong></p>\n<p>To provide technical support and act as a contact point for the Medical Claims Unit/Assigned Claim Unit, resulting in proper disposition of claims.</p>\n<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<p><strong>Medical Claims Coordinator Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Work with computer systems keying functions, including but not limited to letter composition, log entry, time entry, diary entry, report of investigation composition and draft production.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Review medical bills for validity, including processing through the fee schedule when applicable. Issue payments as warranted.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all medical claims processing systems.</p>\n<h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2>\n<p><strong>Medical Claims Coordinator Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Keying skills of 45 wpm required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<p>Some college or insurance/medical related coursework preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum one to three years medical claims or medical care field experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience with personal computers preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Designations in INS or AIC preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> Farm Bureau offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PM19</p>",
