The <strong>Palliative Care Program&#xa0;</strong>which spans both inpatient and outpatient services.&#xa0;</p><p>Together, these programs provide specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with complex non-malignant hematologic conditions, cancer-related pain needs, and end-of-life care needs across oncology diagnoses.</p><p>The portfolio includes leadership responsibilities for administrative staff, registered nurses, clinical coordinators, and allied health professionals. These teams work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model alongside nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, and clinical nurse specialists to support high-quality, coordinated care across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinic settings.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Duties</strong></p><p>The&#xa0;<strong>PCC&#xa0;</strong>has clinical and leadership expertise. The principal responsibilities within the site(s) include:</p><ul><li>Ensuring efficient day to day operations of clinical areas</li><li>Ongoing continuous improvement&#xa0;and project management&#xa0;practices to strengthen clinic processes</li><li>Performing financial/administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective site operation</li><li>Contributing to staff development by promoting and ensuring a supportive/collaborative learning environment within the service(s)/cluster area based on the principles of adult learning and practice standards for nurses, students and ancillary staff</li><li>Performing human resources responsibilities in collaboration with the nurse manager</li><li>Liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of quality and optimal management of patient care outcomes (including data collection/reporting)</li></ul>",
