    "description": "<p>To lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure reactive and preventative technical support is provided efficiently and effectively to achieve production targets and customer deliveries.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Key responsibilities will include:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervising a small team of Maintenance Technicians on a 2-shift rotor</li>\n<li>Safely managing risk assessments and COSHH for maintenance team.</li>\n<li>2nd Escalation call for equipment breakdowns.</li>\n<li>Ensuring all maintenance activity is carried out in a safe, timely manner to a high standard.</li>\n<li>Ensuring there is sufficient maintenance cover for production hours and overtime hours where necessary.</li>\n<li>Managing external contractors on site including all relevant documentation</li>\n<li>Providing technical support to achieve production output standards.</li>\n<li>Planning and executing pro-active preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime.</li>\n<li>Working from mechanical, schematics drawings to assist with fault finding.</li>\n<li>Advising on technical issues, liaising with engineers and the production team as well as supporting continuous improvement activities</li>\n<li>Monitoring machine performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Any other duties as required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Skills and experience required:</em></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified to 18th Edition level or equivalent, with a good knowledge of fault finding and repair in electrical and mechanical.</li>\n<li>Previous experience leading a team.</li>\n<li>Proven previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.</li>\n<li>Proven experience with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems as well as robotics</li>\n<li>IT literate and able to navigate systems easily.</li>\n<li>Organised and initiative-taking with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems.</li>\n<li>A flexible approach to work and the desire to thrive in a dynamic and exciting fast-moving environment.</li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Initiative-taking with the determination to succeed.</li>\n<li>UK driving license and be available to support visits to supplier sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Desirable:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in an automotive environment</li>\n<li>Experience of working within IATF16949 quality system environment</li>\n<li>Direct reports </li>\n</ul>",
