Supply Chain Planner (Multilane, Penang)

Opportunity Overview Address material shortage, backlogs, or other potential schedule interruptions that may impact the Contract Manufacturer’s production schedule Collaborate with Contract Manufacturer to analyze potential constraints and ensure available capacity and materials to support of the build plan Proactively identify gaps in production plan, supply, capacity, materials to reduce risk to the business and meet demand and customer request dates Analyze PPV and PO Excess requests made by the Contract Manufacturer Monitor & achieve KPIs related to Contract Manufacturer (Excess, On Time Delivery, Inventory Management in line with corporate goals Drive continuous improvement at the Contract Manufacturer in supply planning, capacity utilization, material standard cost, and lead time reduction Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, ensuring timely and reliable material delivery. Collaborate on supplier development and performance improvement initiatives. All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Seasoned individual with 5-8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain / Material Planning / Electronics Manufacturing. College degree in supply chain management, business management or related field. In-depth knowledge of the Electronics Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes. Highly motivated, self-starter with strong logic and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task activities, set priorities, and adhere to schedules in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, capacity management). Well versed in information technology applications (MS Office applications). Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic processes, CM relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems. Excellent English communication skills. Basic understanding of Mandarin Chinese – able to listen, speak and read is preferred We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
