    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm, is currently seeking an Indiana licensed Attorney of Counsel &nbsp;with 5+ years of relevant litigation experience for our Hammond, IN, office; hybrid work options available.</p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney with defense litigation experience in the field of insurance coverage (preferred). This is also an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to gain experience working in several different practice areas, including construction, bodily injury, professional malpractice, and mass torts.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish</li><li>Attend court hearings in various counties and courthouses</li><li>Monitor case files to ensure deadlines are met; investigate facts and legal matters to determine causes of action</li><li>Research, analyze, and interpret law sources such as statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions</li><li>Assist with document review</li></ul><p><strong>Ideal candidate:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Good standing with the Indiana bar; Illinois&nbsp;license also preferred</li><li>Experience managing own caseload, handling all aspects of litigation, and an interest in litigating in other fields of practice</li><li>Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
