    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Delivery Driver – Austin, TX</strong></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll safely load, transport, and unload Pella products while delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products arrive on time and meet Pella’s high-quality standards.</p><p>Assignments may vary based on business needs, and you’ll work closely with team members to support daily operations.</p><p><strong>License Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>Driver I:</strong> Class B CDL (may be required)</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Safely operate a delivery truck to transport Pella products to job sites and designated locations</li><li>Load and unload materials according to delivery documentation</li><li>Protect products from damage throughout handling and delivery</li><li>Perform visual quality checks during loading and unloading</li><li>Provide professional, courteous customer service in the field</li><li>Collect COD payments and provide receipts when required</li><li>Obtain customer signatures to confirm deliveries and pickups</li><li>Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or delivery concerns proactively</li><li>Maintain accurate DOT logs and report vehicle maintenance needs</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, including use of required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, footwear, seat belts)</li><li>Keep work areas clean and organized</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred</li><li>Stable and dependable work history</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Basic computer skills preferred</li><li>Willingness to learn company systems and tools (e.g., Outlook, internal software)</li></ul><p><strong>Communication Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Strong verbal and written English skills</li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Team-oriented with a strong work ethic</li><li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented</li><li>Ability to follow tasks through to completion</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Builds trust with customers and coworkers</li></ul><p><strong>Math Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)</li><li>Ability to work with measurements, time, and monetary calculations</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions</li><li>Lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally</li><li>Work at heights of 1–2 stories when needed</li><li>Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Combination of warehouse, delivery vehicle, and outdoor job sites</li><li>Moderate to loud noise levels</li><li>Exposure to varying weather conditions depending on the season</li><li>Schedule and travel may vary based on business needs, including occasional overnight travel</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) as applicable</li><li>Compliance with company Fleet Safety Policy</li></ul>",
