Salary: USD 120,000–165,000 Description We're looking for a Financial Due Diligence Manager to join the Boulay team! Whether a client is selling, acquiring, or looking to better understand the value of their business, Boulay’s Transaction Advisory Group provides the insight and expertise needed to move forward with confidence. Our advisors partner with clients through every stage of the transaction process, delivering valuation, due diligence, and transaction consulting services that support informed, strategic decision‑making. The Financial Due Diligence Manager plays a key role in delivering high‑quality Transaction Advisory services to our clients. This position leads and executes due diligence engagements, including financial due diligence and transaction consulting projects, while helping clients navigate opportunities and challenges throughout the transaction lifecycle. In this role, you’ll manage and coordinate multiple projects, mentor and develop team members, and collaborate closely with professionals across Boulay’s departments to deliver effective, client‑focused solutions. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of a client engagement including: Preparing and reviewing detailed reports and performing complex analyses related to cash flows, quality of earnings and assets, working capital, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings on purchase price considerations Advising clients on how to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks in mergers and acquisitions, including providing recommendations related to deal structure alternatives Reviewing work prepared by engagement team members and providing clear, constructive feedback Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality Manage and contribute to multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, providing due diligence and consulting services to business owners, private equity groups, search funds, and family offices Support business development efforts by building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective clients, identifying market opportunities, and effectively communicating Boulay’s value proposition Train, mentor, and coach less experienced staff Contribute to the continued development and use of best practices within the Transaction Group, including policies, processes, and tools Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of related due diligence experience In depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles Demonstrated career progression, including assuming additional responsibility for deliverables to clients, senior engagement team members, etc. Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, and clients, toward the successful completion of a project Demonstrates adaptability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new processes, apply accounting concepts, and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excels in independent work and collaboration, with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English while managing multiple priorities.
