    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer in any of our North or South Carolina offices with 10+ years of experience with comprehensive experience in geotechnical engineering and project management.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for project management; preparation of proposals, complex technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.</li>\n <li>Managing and reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring.</li>\n <li>Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.  </li>\n <li> Master’s degree preferred with concentration in geotechnical engineering </li>\n <li>16+ years of diverse and proven geotechnical experience </li>\n <li>PE certification required </li>\n <li>Experience with dam safety engineering is a plus. </li>\n <li>Familiar with geotechnical aspects of Building Codes and Design Manuals </li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li>\n <li>Strong leadership and decision-making skills </li>\n <li>Must be motivated, responsible, and able to work independently </li>\n <li>A valid driver’s license is required </li>\n <li>PE certification required </li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 1000 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
