We are fully vertically integrated, bringing engineering, machining, tool-making, and production under one roof to deliver advanced Composite Structures on tight timelines with unmatched quality.</p><p>If you&#39;re looking to be part of a team that pushes boundaries and works with the most advanced technologies in the composites industry, this is where the future is being built!</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong><strong>:</strong><strong><br></strong>The Machine Shop Technician I work under the guidance and supervision of the Machining Supervisor to support day-to-day machine shop operations. This entry-level role focuses on developing core machining skills, maintaining shop cleanliness, and assisting with material preparation. The Technician I is expected to adhere to Fibreworks Composites (FWC) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies while actively supporting a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Cut various types of materials using manual machines such as band saws, planers, table saws, skill saws, and jointers.</li><li>Demonstrate basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices.</li><li>Assist in the bonding and gluing of materials in accordance with multiple FWC SOPs.</li><li>Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner (upon certification).</li><li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.</li><li>Maintain and organize stock materials, tools, and tooling to support workflow.</li><li>Communicate inventory needs to the Administrator for timely restocking.</li><li>Perform routine shop upkeep, including machine cleaning, coolant level checks (using a refractometer), and general housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting).</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Career Pathing</strong></p><p>Machine Shop Technician I serve as an entry point in the machining career path.
