VetPride Services prioritizes the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel.</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Shift:&nbsp;</strong>Monday-Friday, On-call</p><p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong>&nbsp;$19.43 | <strong>Health and Welfare Fringe Benefit:</strong>&nbsp;$4.93/hr (paid out to you)</p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\"><em>**<u>Your Health and Welfare Fringe Benefit will be paid to you in cash (not to exceed 40 hours per week). <span style=\"background-color: rgb(247, 218, 100);\">Your total hourly wage will be&nbsp;</span></u></em></strong><span style=\"background-color: rgb(247, 218, 100);\"><strong><em><u>$24.36.</u></em></strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Martinsburg VA Medical Center, 510 Butler Ave, Martinsburg, WV 25405</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Greet valet customers in a professional manner upon their arrival/departure.</li><li>Assist customers with opening doors and loading/unloading wheelchairs or walkers, as needed.</li><li>Perform valet area access control responsibilities.</li><li>Safely drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in a timely manner.</li><li>Closely inspect all vehicles for damage and record findings on valet ticket.</li><li>Secure all vehicles and return key tag and keys to the valet podium.</li><li>Follow safe driving procedures and safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Abide by all rules and regulations set by the VA.</li><li>Report to duty in company issued uniform; personal hygiene and a professional appearance is expected at all times.</li><li>Report any incidents, damages, or concerns to management promptly.</li><li>Provide directions or information about the property when requested.</li><li>Keep the valet area clean, organized, and presentable.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license in the state of employment.</li><li>Will be subject to a pre-employment criminal background and DMV check.</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.</li><li>Must be able to drive a manual (stick shift) vehicle.</li><li>Regularly work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, heat and cold.</li><li>Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to respond calmly and professionally when handling conflict.</li><li>Consistent attendance and reliability required.</li><li>Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English.</li><li>Regularly stand for long periods (6-8 hours) and walk quickly.</li><li>Ability to lift to 30 pounds.</li><li>Must have the ability to work independently and within established guidelines, follow directions, and work well with others.</li><li>Technical capabilities and basic computer knowledge.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>1-year experience driving manual and automatic transmissions.</li><li>Valet experience preferred, but not required.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Paid Time Off&nbsp;</li><li>Sick Leave&nbsp;</li><li>Paid Federal Holidays</li><li>Access to 401k</li><li>Retention Bonuses</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Monday-Friday",
