We are currently looking for a Project Engineer with leadership skills to play a driving force behind cutting-edge projects. Working in our Land &amp; Joint division in Advanced Vetronics Systems, you will thrive in a collaborative environment and foster strong communication with colleagues to execute on projects and shared goals. Some of your day to day will include:</p><ul><li>Provide leadership and direction to a team of engineers and support personnel during project execution.</li><li>Ensure seamless collaboration and communication within the team and across departments.</li><li>Schedule and coordinate design review gates in alignment with the Engineering Development Framework.</li><li>Author or oversee the creation of project deliverable documents, maintaining a commitment to quality and precision.</li><li>Collaborate with the Project Manager to review project performance monthly, analyzing risks (technical, cost, schedule), and taking corrective action as needed.</li><li>Support the development and maintenance of engineering project plans and other business plans.</li><li>Interface with support departments, Supply Chain, Component Engineering, and Contracts to ensure smooth project progression.</li><li>Communicate and interface with customers, responding to queries and Request for Quotations, and preparing the Basis of Estimate.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities for product and process improvements and drive the implementation of necessary changes.</li><li>Track component obsolescence issues and material constraints that may impact future production.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or applicable scientific discipline is required Good verbal and written communication.</li><li>Having 10+ years of related engineering experience.</li><li>Experience with Display products considered an asset</li><li>Strong interpersonal and managerial skills, whether working as a self-motivated individual, a team member or leader.</li><li>Broad knowledge of the System development process and lifecycles, requirements definition and management.</li><li>Broad knowledge of Supply chain management processes and procedures</li><li>Strong analytical and research abilities, detail oriented</li><li>Excellent customer service in order to support client groups and key business decision making</li><li>Deliver clear, concise and professional communications&#xa0;</li><li>Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.</li></ul><p>It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed.
