We're looking for a motivated, talented STEM/Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Kopila Valley School. We are seeking an experienced support specialist for our Nepali teaching team.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Location: </span>Birendranagar -1, Surkhet</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\">Application Deadline: We recruit on rolling basis </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\">The Main Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Help support all teachers in the use of technology and STEM resources.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Mentor and support our teachers through science and technology across multiple subject areas and grade levels (pre-primary to secondary)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Liaise between teachers and purchasing, to ensure all STEM supplies are purchased, installed, maintained, inventoried, and discarded, according to organization practices.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\">Additional expectations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Takes ownership of support, change, and engages and encourages innovation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Builds positive working relationships and helps to build an environment in the organization by bringing solutions to the discussion table.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Reports to the manager on a weekly basis, and as needed in case of urgent activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Builds and maintains a strong relationship with the students, teachers and relevant stakeholders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Attends weekly staff meetings, and shares operational updates.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Possesses experience in multicultural environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Previous experience in Science and STEM support, and/or experience in Math, Science, Sustainability, or Environmental Education a plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">The above list of responsibilities is not comprehensive, and the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lab In-Charge</span> may be required to take on additional responsibilities, as determined by his/her supervisor.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\">Must Haves</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience: </span>University Graduate in any discipline (University students with hands-on experience in similar field).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Language:</span> A good communicator, and fluent in English and Nepali will be an advantage</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Abilities:</span> Ability to problem-solve, trouble-shoot, find solutions to technology and STEM issues, manage, mentor and lead teaching activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Passionate about and cares for children and vulnerable population; initiator, and competent in managing operations and logistics in the organization.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Works collaboratively and independently with the least supervision required.</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-weight: bold\">Key Characteristics</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You believe that we can change the world, in the blink of an eye</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You believe in making decisions that put children first</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You are self-motivated, organized, and approachable</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You enjoy creating systems, keeping records, and increasing efficiency</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You are always looking for new ways for our team to work smarter instead of harder</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">You are detail-oriented and conscientious.
