    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Saint Joseph. The Head Coach is responsible for fostering a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture that emphasizes athletic and skill development, academic achievement, and sportsmanship.</p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Administers and develops all aspects of the NCAA Division III women&rsquo;s softball program including recruiting, retention, technical and tactical development of the team, in season conditioning programs and training, scouting, supervising assistant coach, maintaining budgets and fundraising.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Provide a positive role model and leadership to the team, as well as excellent communication skills.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Plan season competition schedule, coordinate travel, plan and conduct practices.&nbsp;</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays the University and its programs, personnel, and mission.
