This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving.</p>\n <p><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>The Northern California's Division Distribution Center, located in Tracy, California, has an opening for a Systems Analyst.</span></p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><span><strong>Position Purpose:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p>\n <p><span>To support the implementation and ongoing operations of any new generation of distribution systems at Safeway. To ensure proper technical expertise and support system users at the Distribution Center level. To assure accuracy of information and provide training of personnel to maximize benefits from our system investments.</span><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p>\n <p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></span><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><br><span>• Local systems experts answer user questions and resolve issues. Assure systems issues are resolved in a timely manner, including the interfaces that send information to and from Central Systems.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• Develop and implement all system activities such as physical inventories, new system releases, enhancements, and warehouse conversions. Assist in installation of any upgrade of existing systems or implementation of new distribution systems.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• To be a primary coordination point between Division Warehouses, Accounting, Inventory Control, Merchandising/Buying, Retail, Information Technology and the Corporate Distribution Systems Department for all system related issues.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• Develop and implement user procedures to train all existing warehouse users on system functions, features, and procedures to comply with “best business practices”. Implement improved methods of system use.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• Coordinate and provide seven-day coverage and support of the Distribution Center Systems.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• Responsible for maintaining and validation compliance for Sarbanes and Oxley.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• Perform regular audits to validate system integrity as it interfaces with labor tables and WMS settings.</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n <p><strong>We are looking for candidates who possess the following:</strong></p>\n <p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><br><span>• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience</span><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>• 3-4 years Safeway industry distribution experience. Good working knowledge of Safeway’s distribution operations.
