This salary position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager.  The primary function of this position is to perform accounting functions for assigned product line, including working with operations to ensure adherence to scheduled month end activities, including reviewing physical inventories, processing journal entries, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>General accounting for assigned product line including month end close, review of physical inventory adjustments, journal entries, review of financial statements</li>\n <li>Analysis of monthly P&L’ including commentary on significant variances</li>\n <li>Active engagement with operating management to understand underlying business issues, ensuring product line financial reports are in compliance with IFRS</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly performance measures and balance sheet financial reporting</li>\n <li>Analysis, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts</li>\n <li>Participate in regular product line team meetings to understand key initiatives, business issues, and develop relationships with product line team members.  Prepare and present relevant financial data, as required</li>\n <li>Distribute the monthly product line financial statements to operations, review with them to resolve any unusual items or questions</li>\n <li>Prepare other business reporting as required and address ad-hoc business inquiries/requests</li>\n <li>Preparation of workpapers and supporting schedules for the mid-year and year end audit process, including tax requests</li>\n <li>Assist with monthly forecast and annual budgeting process</li>\n <li>Guide staff accountant as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors’ degree in Accounting</li>\n <li>3+ years of professional accounting experience</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office products proficiency required</li>\n <li>Manufacturing background</li>\n <li>Hyperion, and SAP is a must have.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of SOX or public accounting experience a plus.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) basis, a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customers.</li>\n <li>Occasional local travel may be required</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, translate financial information to non-financial members</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage multiple processes and projects under tight deadlines and to research to resolve ambiguous information effectively</li>\n</ul>\n<p>     </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Success begins with hiring the right people to partner with us as we grow and develop our businesses.
