At WSP, you’ll work alongside a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team and contribute to high‑profile remediation projects across Canada.</p><p>WSP’s Remediation Program Management (RPM) team is one of the most established in the country, with over 15 years of experience delivering contaminated site program management services to technically focused clients. Our team of environmental technicians, scientists, project managers, and technical experts specializes in health and safety, Phase I and II ESAs, risk assessment, and remediation. With a consistent 9–12‑month project backlog, we offer stability, variety, and strong growth opportunities. Our projects span coast to coast to coast and range widely in size and complexity, requiring efficient field execution and close collaboration.</p><p>As our team continues to grow, we have a new opportunity for an Environmental Scientist with a minimum of three years’ experience in the contaminated sites regulatory framework to support remediation programs across Canada’s Northern Territories. This role includes planning and delivering two annual field programs, participating in fieldwork, and preparing follow‑up technical reports. You’ll work as part of a close‑knit team while benefiting from the scale of a national organization—access to deep technical expertise, dedicated mentorship, career progression, and employee resource groups.</p><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span>You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers.</span></li><li><span>You work collaboratively with your team to prepare Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans for the field programs.</span></li><li><span>You train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc. as well as on site specific health and safety.</span></li><li><span>You prepare compile data for, and write, reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations.</span></li><li><span>You work with and provide support to other members of the RPM Team in sharing health and safety, project management, project completion and client service responsibilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>You work in the field in remote location during two field programs (winter and summer).
