    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.47.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.47.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\">Job Function: Provides health and wellness care to students. &nbsp;Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.&nbsp;</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs physical and emotional wellness assessments during walk-in periods.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provides for a wellness care plan that addresses students&rsquo; needs according to protocol outlined in Health Standing Orders or refers students to the Center Physician/mid-level practitioner.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assists in conducting cursory exams for all new students.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Reviews all laboratory results and flags abnormal results for review by the Center Physician.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Follows protocol for infection control by adhering to Bloodborne Pathogen Control plan and disinfecting work sites.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures the appropriate handling of specimens and equipment, as well as the sterilization of equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Documents each encounter with students in their health records.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Able to self-manage and run clinic with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</p><p>Education and Experience Requirements: State Licensed Practical Nurses License and one year&rsquo;s experience as practicing LPN. Prefer two or more years of experience. &nbsp;Valid driver&rsquo;s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.</p><p>Additional Requirements: Knowledge of nursing practices/procedures. &nbsp;Good organizational skills. &nbsp;Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to trainee population. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. In addition, individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.&nbsp;</p><p>Working Conditions: This position involves frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, and squatting. &nbsp;Applicant must be able to see, hear, and speak.</p><p>Environmental Demands: Position requires ability to spend 5% of work time outside and 95% of work time indoors; ability to withstand moderate noise levels, including voice levels 90% of work time; ability to work in high temperature settings during the summer months; and ability to work in low temperature settings in winter months.</p><p>Must have the ability to work 40 hours a week with evening and/or weekend hours.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>$2,000 sign on bonus available. &nbsp;If an candidate is selected for a position in which the sign-on bonus applies, 50% of the Sign-On Bonus will be paid on the new employee&rsquo;s first paycheck and the remaining 50% will be paid after successful completion of the employee&rsquo;s introductory period (on the paycheck following 6 months of employment).
