Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">As a <strong>Composite Technician</strong> you’ll set up and operate a variety of hand tools such as hammers, files, dremels, drills, presses, low temperature ovens, pullers and hand grinders to perform various operations such as blending, chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals, masking, and braze application.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Composite technicians are responsible for fabricating aircraft parts, accessories, and trim in accordance with technical specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Composite technician jobs are detail-oriented and involve crafting, sanding, bonding, assembly, oven and autoclave cures with a variety of composite materials.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to use a variety of hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, dremels, drills, and operate ovens.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Repairing components as needed per manual and router instruction.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Perform hot-bonding, wet lay-up preparation, and cures, using raw materials or pre-pregs, both glass and aramid fiber.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Perform repairs with the use of various adhesives and resins.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Remove and repair damage of honeycomb and core panels.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Repair of thermosets and thermoplastics using adhesive bonding.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Perform grinding, sanding, blending, deburring operation. Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Accurately records time worked on shop order.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">The Composite Technician will work with and around a variety of chemicals and follow all OSHA standards in regards to personal protection equipment.
