In this position, you will be responsible for using a universal welder to make cuts and welds on steel pipe.</p>\n<p>#shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #LI-onsite</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Read blueprints and drawings</li>\n <li>Take measurements to plan layouts</li>\n <li>Set up welding machine according to specifications</li>\n <li>Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety</li>\n <li>Test all machine welds to ensure quality</li>\n <li>Weld by hand any leaks found in quality penetration die test</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>4 plus years of welding experience</li>\n <li>Read a tape measure</li>\n <li>Pipe welding and welding certificates a plus</li>\n <li>Be dependable</li>\n <li>Good attendance and a positive attitude are critical for this position</li>\n <li>Good work ethic and a willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate ideas, thoughts, etc. both verbally and in written form</li>\n <li>Must be able to work Saturday (will count against attendance record if missed).</li>\n <li>Must be 18 years or older</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Ability to follow directions and communicate with others</li>\n <li>Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly</li>\n <li>Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a drug test</li>\n <li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
