Modification projects range from avionics upgrades and aircraft instrumentation integration to complex aircraft modifications affecting aircraft operational and flying characteristics.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The work environment is highly collaborative, hands-on, and multidisciplinary, supporting specialized aerospace and flight test operations.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>ITPS is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician AME-E to support maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, modification, and certification activities involving aircraft avionics and electrical systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and flight operations teams in support of specialized flight test and aerospace operations.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics and electrical systems in accordance with:\n<ul>\n<li>manufacturer recommendations,</li>\n<li>regulatory requirements,</li>\n<li>company policies and procedures,</li>\n<li>and industry standards</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Conduct testing and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics and electrical systems</li>\n<li>Complete certification of work, recording of discrepancies, and aircraft documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements</li>\n<li>Ensure assigned work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively</li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate safety procedures and protective measures are followed during maintenance activities</li>\n<li>Assist with aircraft modification and avionics upgrade projects</li>\n<li>Complete technical paperwork, inspection records, and maintenance documentation</li>\n<li>Maintain clean and organized shop, hangar, and aircraft work environments</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to other personnel where required</li>\n<li>Attend training courses and technical development programs as required</li>\n<li>Promote safe work practices and report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to management</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisor</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Transport Canada AME-E licence</li>\n<li>Previous avionics maintenance experience in a commercial, military, or aerospace environment</li>\n<li>Experience troubleshooting and maintaining aircraft avionics and electrical systems</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards</li>\n<li>Previous Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) experience within an AMO environment is considered an asset</li>\n<li>Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams</li>\n<li>Must be eligible to work in Canada</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass background screening where required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AI Disclosure: </span>We do not use AI to evaluate applicants or make decisions during the interview process.
