Responsibilities also include ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and ensuring that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Functions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce parts to specification</li><li>Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption</li><li>Machine readiness -- inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up</li><li>Identify issues that adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and cleaning</li><li>Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution</li><li>Ensure parts produced meet established quality standards</li><li>Perform housekeeping duties</li><li>Follow Good Manufacturing Practices</li><li>Complete all shift documentation/paperwork</li><li>Shift hand-off -- review job status&rsquo; and provide updates to incoming shift</li><li>React with urgency to equipment downtime or other extraordinary conditions, and notify supervision whenever such conditions occur</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must possess basic skills to setup, load and unload material from manual and automated equipment with little supervision.</li><li>Must possess basic computer skills, data entry skills and the ability to operate and load simple computer programs to run&nbsp;manufacturing equipment and machines</li><li>Ability to operate with speed and accuracy, and collaborate effectively with others on the team&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment</li><li>Requires strong communication, interpersonal, business, technical, analytical, and planning skills</li><li>Displays leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others</li><li>Able to coach, and train line production workers to optimize production</li><li>Must have the ability to expedite solutions when situations arise</li><li>Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands&nbsp;</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
