14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">To observe and abide by the Rules and Code of professional conduct of The Cayman Islands Nursing and Midwifery Council adoption of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">To attend unit/team perinatal meetings working as part of the multidisciplinary team.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">Assist mothers and families through attempts to conceive, pregnancy, and post pregnancy care. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">Preparing women for labor, delivery and assisting with the birthing process. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">Counseling and educating male and female patients on contraceptives, reproductive health, and family planning.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">Assist surgeons and physicians in caring for the mother during complicated style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">To liaise closely with multidisciplinary staff in the hospital and community, including general practitioners and public health internal controls established for department.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">The patient’s needs are individually Grad. Diploma in Midwifery or Diploma in Midwifery.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><span style=\"color: #515251\">Minimum 5 years Midwifery Experience (Recent or currently practicing).</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><br><span style=\"color: #515251\">Experience in hospital setting and understanding of hospital operations is preferred.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #0070c0\">Accountability:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #515251; font-size: 14px\">The Registered Midwife is accountable to the Clinical Coordinator.
