This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their career in IT, with a passion for troubleshooting and delivering excellent user support. If you’re curious, adaptable, and eager to deepen your technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility, this role offers a front-row seat to some of the most exciting work in the market.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>No two days look the same, but your core responsibilities will include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help monitor and manage IT tickets in the ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and resolutions</li>\n<li>Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues operating systems, and software (such as Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive).</li>\n<li>Help with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.</li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers and switches.</li>\n<li>Support system updates, patches, and data backups.</li>\n<li>Prepare technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with IT staff on projects and initiative</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned, including department wide projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What You’ll Bring</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’re more than your credentials—you’re collaborative, detail-oriented, and ready to grow. Ideally, you bring:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or certificate from a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.</li>\n<li>Experience with common IT support tools (e.g., ticketing systems, remote desktop tools) is an asset.</li>\n<li>Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system security and data integrity</li>\n<li>CompTIA A+, Network +, or similar certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What’s in It for You?</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Davidson, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
