There is no additional compensation for travel.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to perform a wide variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties in the Baltimore area. This part-time role offers flexible hours and is ideal for a licensed plumber looking to supplement their existing workload or take on project-based work.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The plumber will respond to routine service requests, emergency repairs, and planned upgrades—working independently or in collaboration with property maintenance and renovation teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCHEDULED DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters)</li>\n<li>Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, low pressure, and other plumbing issues</li>\n<li>Replace or repair damaged piping, valves, or connections</li>\n<li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems</li>\n<li>Ensure work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and hours worked</li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in residential and commercial environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UNSCHEDULED DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist supervisor with work related requests.</li>\n<li>Responsible for following regulations of COMAR, CARF, any other regulatory body, and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well.</li>\n<li>Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested.</li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment.</li>\n<li>Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor.</li>\n<li>Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS</span>: Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and regularly drive a motor vehicle.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.</li>\n<li>May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li>\n<li>Exposure to potentially hazardous materials, heights, and tight spaces.</li>\n<li>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPETENCY AND SKILLS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.</li>\n<li>Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials</li>\n<li>Reliable transportation and own tools</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently</li>\n<li>Must carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (if 1099)</li>\n<li>Experience in multi-unit housing, affordable housing, or supportive housing settings</li>\n<li>Ability to assess and quote materials/labor for small projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gas line or backflow certification a plus</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li>\n<li>Valid Maryland journeyman or master plumber license</li>\n</ul>",
