    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Purpose/Description</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\">To assist in running and maintaining the Burns Wellness Commons Campus Fitness facilities and programs in a safe, clean, and inclusive atmosphere that will attract students, faculty/staff, alumni, and sisters. This includes all areas of the Burns Wellness Commons, the front desk, cardio fitness area, fieldhouse, and weight room. <span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Provide a safe, clean atmosphere that will attract students, faculty/staff, alumni, and sisters.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage the front desk/cardio area including greeting guests and providing direction if needed, selling memberships and day passes, coordinating rentals to the facilities director, and assisting students with reservations of fieldhouse courts.&nbsp;</li><li>Entering reservations into the EMS system and setting up recreational equipment for fieldhouse activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with the cardiovascular and weight room equipment management.&nbsp;</li><li>Clean and maintain all areas of the facility (including mopping, sweeping, sanitizing, etc.) through following a shift checklist of cleaning duties. These areas include the upstairs fitness facility and front desk, downstairs weight room, fitness studio, Fieldhouse, the Reif, laundry room, and entrances and hallways.</li><li>Prevent any mistreatment of equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Available to answer any questions regarding certain equipment usage or comfort providing a spot for weight room activities if asked.&nbsp;</li><li>Give proper advice on how to use equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Maintain a positive customer service environment by greeting guests and acquiring membership and usage data at the front desk and weight room desk.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor security cameras stationed at the front desk.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with laundering fitness facility towels and athletic team laundry.&nbsp;</li><li>Enforce Burns Wellness Commons Fitness Center facility rules and regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in yearly training and other training as assigned.</li><li>Regularly schedule 2 shifts per week minimum and 1 weekend shift per half semester. &nbsp;</li><li>Assist periodically with ticket sales related to athletic events.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned and/or necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Must be a current or incoming CSS student<span style=\"white-space:pre;\" id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li>Federal work study eligibility is required<span style=\"white-space:pre;\" id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li>Students must maintain current accredited CPR certification.&nbsp;</li><li>The ability to lift ranges of weight up to 50 lbs.</li><li>The ability to work 2 shifts weekly and 3 weekend shift minimum per half semester. <span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Experience delivering customer service and with sales.&nbsp;</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Experience handling multiple requests, must be detail-oriented.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with weight room equipment and/or spotting and safety techniques.&nbsp;</li><li>Interest in gaining experience to supplement a career in a health-allied field.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Special Instructions to Applicants</strong><span style=\"white-space:pre;\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">Resume submission required.&nbsp;</span><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">Please list whether you are currently CPR certified.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">Upload your CPR certification under &quot;Make your application stronger by uploading documents, such as cover letter, work samples, transcripts, and certifications&quot;</span></li></ul></div></div>\n",
