    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Cook for our Cafe! PRN Status</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The cook is responsible for preparing, cooking and serving food for patients, staff and visitors.  Must work in a clean manner following proper food handling techniques.  Must maintain and update knowledge of all equipment and supplies used in the dietary department.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Prepares the meals as assigned following the menu.</p>\n<p>Pulls the assigned prep foods.</p>\n<p>Acts appropriately as a supervisor on shift when required.</p>\n<p>Food served is high quality.</p>\n<p>Completes the daily task sheets and other assigned paperwork properly.</p>\n<p>Maintains the kitchen areas in a clean and orderly manner.</p>\n<p>Restocks supplies if needed.</p>\n<p>Reports any equipment failures.</p>\n<p>Uses chemicals appropriately.</p>\n<p>Refills all necessary supplies and dispensers as required.</p>\n<p>Follows cooling procedures correctly.</p>\n<p>Wears protective personal equipment as required.</p>\n<p>Participates and contributes to department performance improvement and quality programs and initiatives.</p>\n<p>Utilizes attendance systems per organizational and departmental guidelines.</p>\n<p>Does Meditech reports as assigned.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule:</span></p>\n<p><span>As needed based on the needs of the department.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Educational Requirements:</span></p>\n<p>Safe Serve Preferred</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<p>Previous health care cooking experience preferred.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to prepare meals as assigned.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read, write and speak English.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including basic computer use.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must meet all local health regulation requirements including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">403B Retirement Benefits Available. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><em>Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all employees.
