Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process and audit payroll for multiple states, including regular pay, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and benefits deductions using ADP Workforce Now. Maintain payroll records and employee data accurately in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, SOX controls, and payroll regulations. Evaluate and validate timesheets; investigate and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors, and HR. Respond to and resolve employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and timeliness. Generate, review, and interpret payroll reports for audits, management reporting, and funding purposes. Document and maintain payroll procedures; contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. Partner with HR and Finance to support initiatives and ensure payroll integration aligns with business needs. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Experience in Payroll support for the US, Canada and Mexico is preferred. Strong working knowledge of payroll law and compliance requirements. Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and apply insights to business decisions. English Level: B2/B3 Behavioral Attributes
