As a generalist who loves solving problems, you will find innovative solutions to tough challenges. In addition to solid technical skills, PSD Citywide Software Developers have strong oral and written communications skills to work collaboratively.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working on our PSD Citywide Enterprise system, design and develop backend services and front-end applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Effective knowledge with web development languages, frameworks and new technologies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working with other software developers and support staff in order to take product ideas from concept to release.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Writing and maintaining code in a robust, efficient and readable manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design and implement new user interfaces/experiences to meet clients needs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Documenting code and providing the methodology behind it for future reference</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Testing and implementing experimental technologies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Testing and reviewing code in timely and professional manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work in an Agile project delivery environment, develops and modifies technology systems, addressing functional, performance, security, quality, operational and monitoring needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Managing data integrity and quality assurance activities to ensure application stability</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Managing self-directed assignments to implement features and resolve software defects to meet schedule commitments with high-level of quality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Recommend and perform software improvements and upgrades</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works with Business Analysts to complete analysis of business requirements, design and development of web applications that are integrated with other modules</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in a daily scrum and weekly team sprints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Post Secondary education in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related degree/diploma</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">3-10 years experience fullstack development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Expertise in development technologies depends on work projects. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Web Development technologies and frameworks including: <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Angular.JS, Symphony, CSS (Sass), Node.js, Git, Linux, PostgreSQL</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong SQL skills; ability to create and modify complex stored procedures and functions.<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong ability to collaborate and problem solve.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience building and scaling user-focused web applications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience in design and development of scalable and secured web services that integrate with other technologies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous experience working with legacy applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A solid commitment to quality software development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with source code repositories such as Git</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good verbal and written communications and knowledge transfer skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
