On the job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning will ensure that skills remain current. Some of the benefits of joining our team are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Pay.</li>\n <li>Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, generous PTO and paid holidays, uniforms, and much more.</li>\n <li>Exposure to world-class CAT training and development.</li>\n <li>A friendly and supportive work environment.</li>\n <li>Continuous exposure to learning and new technologies.</li>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Program Structure:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start: </strong>April 2026</li>\n <li><strong>Duration:</strong> Approx. 6 months </li>\n <li><strong>Academic Learning:</strong> 1 week in class, 3 weeks in Shop.</li>\n <li><strong>Outcome: </strong>Entry level technician role</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.</li>\n <li>Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.</li>\n <li>Perform comprehensive oil, filter, and lubrication services, including checking and filling fluid levels to O.E.M. specifications, and refueling as requested by the customer.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all documented Customer Service Agreement processes and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Inspect equipment for external signs of potential component failure.</li>\n <li>Inspect and report any inoperable safety devices or conditions.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed lube records for all work performed.</li>\n <li>Ensures total customer service.</li>\n <li>Attend all technical classes and complete all apprenticeship assessments.</li>\n <li>Engage in both academic and practical assessments to demonstrate skill development.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Performance Expectations:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of technical requirements of the apprenticeship program.</li>\n <li>Effective application of learned skills during the program.</li>\n <li>Adherence to all program requirements and standards set by Blanchard Machinery.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Must pass Blanchard Machinery Criteria Assessment Tool.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures.</li>\n <li>Able to read and interpret maintenance service manuals preferred.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate lifting devices.</li>\n <li>Ability to use diagnostic equipment</li>\n <li>Familiarization of electronic cables, connections, and sensors.</li>\n <li>A demonstrated commitment to accuracy, organization and ability to prioritize tasks is required.</li>\n <li>Previous experience on CAT equipment is a plus.</li>\n <li>Meet Company Driver Qualifications policy.</li>\n <li>Maintain a valid driver's license.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside (non-climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.</li>\n <li>Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.</li>\n <li>Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines in order to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift varied weight.</li>\n <li>Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>",
