    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Must live and be able to commute to the NYC metro area daily</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The Field Service Recovery Technician is the primary field operator for Hudson&rsquo;s mobile refrigerant recovery services. This role performs on-site recovery at job sites, maintains service vehicles and recovery equipment, refrigerant cylinder consolidation, customer interaction and demand generation and ensures all activities are digitally tracked and compliant with safety and environmental standards. This is a field-based role for someone who is mechanically skilled, tech-savvy, and passionate about doing meaningful, hands-on work that directly contributes to environmental protection</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Work with management and sales to build new customers and maintain client base</li><li>Strive to meet gas recovery and buyback goals</li><li>Travel to customers or work sites (e.g., HVAC contractors, mechanical shops, chiller plants) daily to carry out recovery of refrigerant and collect refrigerant recovered by customers</li><li>Set up and operate recovery machines, recovery cylinders, hoses, and other field tools</li><li>Complete digital work orders including equipment details, refrigerant weights, job documentation, and customer sign-off in a timely manner</li><li>Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities for recovery, cylinder exchange, and refrigerant buyback</li><li>Maintain vehicle safety, inventory control, and readiness of all field equipment. Take proper care of assigned vehicle by keeping it clean, in good condition and maintained according to the manual.</li><li>Represent Hudson Technologies with professionalism and a commitment to safety and service excellence</li><li>Ensure compliance with all DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations</li><li>Follow company processes, procedures, safety standards and schedules with respect to daily activities.
