BETTER MOBILITY FOR LIFE Savaria is a global leader in accessibility and patient care products, designing and building wheelchair lifts, stairlifts, elevators for home and commercial applications, medical beds, therapeutic surfaces, ceiling track lifts and patient slings. Span America is a division of Savaria and is an industry manufacturing pioneer, known for its innovative therapeutic support surfaces, seating products, positioners, and medical beds catering to Acute Care, Long-Term Care, and rehabilitation needs. OVERVIEW: The Warehouse Associate II receives materials and unload trucks. They fill and ship products, package and load trailers. Once unloaded, they will verify the count and accuracy of shipments according to packing list. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Accurately fill and ship required products to the customer: pull cases, stencil, shrink wrap, palletize, and load trailers utilizing a pallet jack or forklift just as Warehouse Associate I, along with having a basic understanding of other shipping software such as: Dynamics Fed Ex Ship Manager Easy Label VShip Can manually allocate orders that come into the warehouse via the WIP process. Receive materials and unload trucks. Verify the count and accuracy of inbound shipments with a packing list. Notate any discrepancies and notify management of inconsistencies. Accurately fill, and ship required products to the customer: pull cases, stencil, shrink wrap, palletize, and load trailers utilizing a pallet jack or forklift. Ensure trailer wheels are chocked before entering the trailer. Transport materials to assigned areas as required, staging as appropriate. Assist other warehouse employees as needed. Maintain a neat and organized work area inside and outside the warehouse. Minimize loss by careful and accurate handling of materials. Participate in inventory as assigned. Support Quality Policy, Quality System, and follow established procedures. Propose changes to existing procedures through the supervisor, understanding that changes cannot be implemented prior to formal approval in the Quality System.
