With our global teams, industry expertise, and the power of technology, we design and deliver tailored, sustainable, and innovative solutions and services that help our clients optimize their operations and captivate their customers. • Establish and monitor individual business plans to ensure profitability of individual Quick Lane operations in assigned territory • Perform regular operation reviews and provide synopsis in writing to dealer, Ford regional personnel and Quick Lane headquarters • Monitor and ensure effectiveness of all sales and marketing programs • Effective use of demographic data and other material to generate and annual business plan • Develop an annual advertising plan and ensure dealer adherence • Assist dealers during the planning and implementation stage of Quick Lane, including all steps outlined in the launch requirements form required to open the facility • Research local market for competitive advertising and business practices • Maintain all standards and criteria as established by FCSD • Assist in the submission of Quick Lane sales and financial data to the business specialist • Assist in the solicitation of dealers to the Quick Lane program in conjunction with Ford Motor Company personnel • Identification and implementation of training for all Quick Lane personnel • Utilize personal industry experience to inform project manager of market opportunities and actions required to maximize program effectiveness • Assist in the maintenance of the Operations Guide and Ad Planner • Assist in the development of training programs for operational Quick Lanes • Receive direction from field manager • Achieving High Standards focuses on maintaining customer loyalty by managing details and being results oriented. This includes maintaining and exceeding goals for sales and service while demonstrating integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all areas of work. • Leading a Winning Team focuses on leading, coaching, and influencing dealer employees, coworkers, and clients. This includes setting direction in order to accomplish business goals while working with subordinates to increase their abilities. Additional skills include creating a productive work environment and giving the dealer and other manager’s information on business and staffing issues. • Working Effectively with Others focuses on promoting and valuing teamwork and communicating effectively through verbal, written, or listening skills. This includes encouraging others to work well within a group or when interacting with customers or coworkers. Other skills include encouraging the team to be committed to dealership goals. • Handling Pressure focuses on adapting to change, maintaining composure, multi-tasking and resolving conflicts. This includes the ability and willingness to change work practices or priorities and effectively handle multiple work demands. Other skill requirements include maintaining performance and composure under stressful conditions. • Managing Business Complexity focuses on the ability to analyze problems and data and to prioritize, plan, and make decisions to coordinate work activities and resources. This includes identifying causes of problems, generating alternatives, drawing reasonable conclusions, and deciding on an action plan after careful examination of relevant information and consideration of business objectives. • Applying the Basics focuses on referencing written information, mathematical reasoning, using computer and technical systems, learning new systems, processing new information and following safety procedures. This includes the ability to determine and execute necessary arithmetic operations in order to complete documentation, financial reporting, and record keeping as well as the ability to use information from graphs, charts, or written text. This involves using systems to modify or execute programs, and guidelines to improve departmental functioning, as well as complying with safety procedures and guidelines. • Understanding and Using Business Knowledge focuses on understanding how a business works, maintaining industry awareness, creating efficient business systems, applying technical expertise, and developing creative business strategies. This includes understanding the key external factors impacting business, using learned skills to control costs, developing systems which help the dealership attain its business goals, and developing creative and effective solutions in response to business problems. Education/Certification Requirements: • Minimum of High School degree or equivalent • Two years of college with a strong emphasis on business skills preferred • Valid Driver’s license Experience: • Five years in an automotive service environment required; 7 or more years preferred • Two years of multi-store supervisory experience Physical Requirements: • Moving about the Service Department • Utilizing physical and manual dexterity • Driving a vehicle • Using equipment consistent with industry standards • Some overnight Travel will be required Working Conditions: • Must own a Ford Vehicle for travel • Be fiscally responsible • Expenses reimbursed from own credit card • Using Lap top computer • Proficient in Microsoft Office application The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $75k to $90k based on current experience.
