The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring plant productivity and safety while maintaining equipment to the highest standards. If you are a results-driven individual with strong technical and leadership skills, apply now to join Highland Baking Co. as our next Maintenance Supervisor!</p><h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Key Responsibilities:</span></h3><ul><li>Collaborate with departments including sanitation, production, and quality assurance to resolve maintenance-related issues affecting productivity.</li><li>Spend 90% of the time on the floor, conducting inspections and addressing maintenance needs to improve line efficiency.</li><li>Coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.</li><li>Perform and inspect repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.</li><li>Train and mentor the maintenance team on troubleshooting and equipment setup.</li><li>Use Upkeep software to track maintenance activities and report progress.</li><li>Maintain inventory of parts and materials, and forecast orders for critical supplies.</li><li>Weld mild steel and stainless steel, troubleshoot drives, and use HMI screens for adjustments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.</li><li>Support the company&rsquo;s food safety initiative and ensure compliance with SQF, OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and EPA regulations.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Qualifications:</span></h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in industrial settings.</li><li>Proficiency with maintenance management software (Upkeep).</li><li>Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical drawings.</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Education &amp; Experience:</span></h3><ul><li>Proven leadership in industrial operations or maintenance, minimum 3 years</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></span></p><p>The position requires regular physical activity, such as reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking/standing within and around the site for a minimum of 8-12 hours daily.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Benefits:</strong></span></p><p>We offer health insurance, holiday pay, paid vacation, paid sick time, up to 6 weeks of paid medical leave, and two different 401k options.&nbsp;</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Highland Baking Company is an equal opportunity employer.
