What The Role Entails CloudHQ is seeking an experienced Building Technician to support the maintenance of one of our data centers ensuring the highest standard of customer service, and overall client satisfaction while aligning well with our company's core values. This Manassas, VA-based opportunity will be a hands-on role and will report to the Electrical or Mechanical Manager. We desire an enthusiastic professional with a proven track record of blending technical expertise with exceptional customer care. What You Will Get To Do Operate and monitor critical Data Center Systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment, Building Controls, Chillers, CRAHs, etc.) Assist with minor building repairs including, but not limited to, carpentry and painting, installing door hardware, changing light bulbs, changing filters, cleaning coils and equipment. Ensure all work performed meets required safety codes Perform assigned building systems preventive maintenance. Report identified building problems to the Electrical / Mechanical Manager Assist with day-to-day building operations Investigate alarm sequences (BMS/EPMS/Security) Inspect premises on daily basis. Remove all debris, clean walkways and other areas as necessary to maintain interior and exterior appearance of building as required Aid and assist with special events and on-going projects Respond to safety and emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure work environment Maintain all tools, parts, and supplies in an organized manner. Inform the Electrical / Mechanical Manager of any needs for replacement, restocking or repair of items Manage and maintain good working relationships with on-site contractors and vendors Perform other job-related duties as assigned
