    "description": "<p>The Senior Product Manager - Equine Technology Platform (Equinet) is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of Equinet’s platform for the United States market. This role ensures the product aligns with real-world equine industry workflows and meets the needs of horse owners and equine professionals.</p>\n<p>The Senior Product Manager works cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams to define product priorities, manage the product roadmap, and drive user adoption and engagement. This position plays a key role in ensuring the platform delivers value to users and supports Equinet’s long-term growth.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and manage the product strategy and roadmap for the U.S. market</li>\n<li>Gather and analyze feedback from horse owners, breeders, veterinarians, farriers, and stable managers to inform product decisions</li>\n<li>Translate user needs into clear product requirements and development priorities</li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver product features and improvements</li>\n<li>Ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience across mobile and web platforms</li>\n<li>Monitor product performance using key metrics such as user engagement, adoption, and retention</li>\n<li>Support product testing, validation, and feature rollout with pilot users and industry partners</li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product development aligns with business goals and market needs</li>\n<li>Maintain a clear and organized product backlog and prioritize development efforts</li>\n<li>Contribute to the long-term vision and scalability of the Equinet platform</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred</li>\n<li>5–10 years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership</li>\n<li><span>Entrepreneurial / startup mindset</span></li>\n<li>Experience developing or scaling SaaS, platform, or technology products</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and operations</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and roadmap planning</li>\n<li>Experience using data and user feedback to guide product decisions</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced or startup environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in the equine industry, agriculture/AgTech, veterinary services, sports technology, or insurance</li>\n<li>Experience working with platform or ecosystem-based products</li>\n<li>Familiarity with managing products used by multiple user groups or industry stakeholders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinking and product vision</li>\n<li>User-focused problem solving</li>\n<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li>\n<li>Data-driven decision making</li>\n<li>Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment</li>\n</ul>",
