Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women&#39;s centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Mission Statement:&nbsp;</strong>To serve the community by providing quality, comprehensive cancer care which respects the values and needs of each individual. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Overview:&nbsp;</em></strong>We are looking for an experienced Triage/Infusion IV Certified Float LPN who is motivated, professional, and friendly to facilitate care to our patients. This is a full-time, day shift position working a Monday - Friday schedule. &nbsp;<strong>This position home location will be Scottsdale, but willing to float to our Phoenix location.</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>: &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Works closely with Triage RN and Nurse Manager. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Answers phone calls and checks voicemails for triage and addresses as appropriate. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Triage patient phone calls as needed: documents relevant information in patient chart. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist Physician and RN with coordination of patient care, completing various forms, communication with other medical personal as needed. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Obtains prior authorizations for Oral Chemotherapies. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Refills prescriptions for Oral Chemotherapy in conjunction with the Triage RN. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Schedules first chemotherapy appointment after RN does education. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">IV administration on non-chemo agents as needed &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Calls patients with PT/INR results and new directions after receiving from the provider. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong>: &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of HIPAA rules &amp; regulations. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of chemotherapy related drugs and supplies utilized, preferred. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of diagnostic testing and radiation procedures, preferred. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Excellent verbal and writing communication skills. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS coding. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of basic mathematics. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Internet. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Willing to travel between offices. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong>: &nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">2-3 years working as LPN in Oncology setting or other Healthcare settings &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Graduation from an accredited LPN program. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">IV certification a plus but not required &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Current Arizona LPN State Board of Nursing license required. &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Current CPR Certification required. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><strong><em>We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package including health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, 401K, and more.
