Description

Job Overview: As a Lobby Houseperson, you will play a key role in ensuring that our hotel's public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests by consistently upholding cleanliness and tidiness in all public spaces. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-facing areas. Ensure that all public areas are vacuumed, dusted, and kept free of debris. Clean and polish all fixtures, furniture, and decorative items in public spaces. Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies in public restrooms. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of entrances and stairways. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude. Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
