Do you spend your weekends optimizing your home lab, distro-hopping, or finding new ways to integrate AI into your daily workflow?</p><p><b>XDA</b> is seeking a <strong>Software & </strong><b>Productivity Features Writer</b> to cover the latest and most relevant software updates, AI tools, and power-user workflows in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. </p><p>The XDA team is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve, continuously sourcing the latest in computing developments, sharing tips, tutorials, and videos, while reviewing devices, apps, and games.</p><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Ability to contribute reliable and consistent <b>feature content</b> under tight deadlines.</li><li>Cover a broad range of software topics including AI tools, productivity apps, self-hosting, home labs, and PC software.</li><li>Willing to input work into our in-house CMS, as well as find and format images, according to our guidelines.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest software releases, AI advancements, and the self-hosting ecosystem.</li><li>Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback.</li></ul><p><b>Application Requirements</b></p><ul><li>CV</li><li>Cover Letter (tell us why you want to write for us!)</li><li>2-3 <b>feature-length tech articles</b> you've written that demonstrate your writing abilities</li></ul><p><b>Applicants must have a self-starter attitude and possess the following:</b></p><ul><li>Relevant experience in writing and editing feature-length content in the English language.</li><li>Ability to think analytically; providing expert-level perspective on software, tools, and workflows.</li><li>In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with productivity tools, AI platforms, and/or self-hosted environments (NAS, Docker, etc.).</li></ul><p><em><strong>The XDA hiring team will reach out to applicants who align well with our needs.
