          "text": "<p><strong>MUST HAVE GLASS PLANT MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE&#xa0;for this position.</strong></p><p>As a&#xa0;<strong>Unit Plant Manager&#xa0;</strong>for O-I you will manage the total operation of the production lines of an assigned furnace on a 24 hour / 7 day a week basis through the line management system and continuous shift operation to maximize production performance within established safety, quality and cost parameters.</p><p><strong>The Unit Plant Manager will:</strong></p><ul><li>Drive the plant furnace to achieve the key performance goals (Safety, Quality, Total Best Cost, Productivity, and Flexibility)</li><li>Promote a Manufacturing Excellence culture that and continuous improvement.</li><li>Conducting production meetings and sponsor morning TPC meetings</li><li>Leading and managing projects</li><li>Successfully meet plant KPI’s</li></ul><p><strong>The Unit Plant Manager should have:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven management and continuous improvement skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate with team members and supports employee engagement</li><li>Coaching &amp; mentoring skills and the ability to handle personnel issues.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills</li><li>Adequate knowledge of informational systems &amp; ability to analyze data</li><li>Experience working in the Glass Manufacturing Industry</li><li>Cold End Experience Preferred</li></ul>",
